12th August – A Capella Choral Music
Catherine Ennis, former President of the Royal College of Organists, conducts friends and colleagues, all experienced consort singers, in Bach’s early Canata BWV 150 and Motet Jesu Meine Freude, balanced with seminal choral works from the 20th century including Britten’s Hymn to St Cecilia and by Stravinsky and Walton.

9th September – Soldier’s Tale
Directed by Martin Harvey (formerly Northcott Theatre) with the Clayhanger Ensemble conducted by Matthew Scott Rogers (Royal Opera House, Covent Garden), this will be a fully dramatised performance of this iconic work by Igor Stravinsky with libretto by Charles-Ferdinand Ramuz. Written towards the end of the First World War it tells the story of a soldier searching for meaning in his life. The work will be performed in English in the translation by Michael Flanders and Kitty Black.

10th September – Soldier’s Tale
There will be a repeat performance of the Soldier’s Tale at the Pavilion Theatre Teignmouth at 3pm on Sunday 10th September, tickets for which can be obtained from the Teignmouth Box Office.
